  • A little off the beaten track but an oasis. Even better in the spring when gardens in bloom. Great little cafe, family run by the looks. Good value. A bonus for train buffs is the two trains at 1400hr...  more »
  • Family friends and I journey by train to this place. I was taken by the beautifully tended gardens. It was raining this Carnival day so sought shelter for our picnic. Very refreshing and lovely way to...  more »
  • This historic old train station was incredibly beautiful! It's not just a train station without a garden with nice places to sit and have a picnic! We had taken with picnic basket and beat us down and just enjoyed the exotic String Orchestra of the birds and grasshoppers. The reason why there is a garden at the train station due to a contest from 1914 that called on the train station staff to participate in a contest of which Spring Bluff railwaystations employees Ralph and Lillian Kirsop took up the challenge. De la down lots of time which gave a striking performance as they won the first prize in the "Southern Division" at least 9 years in a row! Today the station is a popular spot for wedding photos, then you can imagine that it is a beautiful train station! ;) The rails are still used and it was really fun to see the old locomotive whoosh past in slowly! The Rails began in 1864 and the line would go from Toowomba-Ipswich and 1867, the first tågturen. Can tell you about reading in work-related MSDS for more interesting facts! So fill your picnic basket and turn past vettja! =)

  • Awesome place for a relaxing cuppa. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Definitely coming again!
  • We visited Spring Bluff train station to fill a bit of time and were very glad we did. Accolades to those responsible for the exquisite gardens and the general upkeep of this quaint little station. It was closed when we visited but I've no doubt we will call in again.
  • The place is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However the coffee we found to be fairly strange tasting. The food was ok, however the food in the cabinet was partially stale. Great scones though.
  • Came here on australia day and great burgers
  • Beautiful, nice quite place with a lot of rail history.
