  • Free walkabout of the iconic pier, built in 1917. Fascinating history is explained on information boards. The pier is still 800 m long, 300 m shorter than when it was a shipping hub. Lovely beach walk...  more »
  • This pier is very long and is an icon of the area. It's worth having a walk to the end at least once or twice. Nothing overly exciting is there however after you've visited once or twice. It can be ve...  more »
  • This pier has an amazing history and the last 880 metres have been lovingly restored. The history of the Pier can be read as you start your slow stroll, all the while watching & occassionally chatting...  more »

  • Great and seamless property purchase with Ed Hollingsworth at Century 21 Hervey Bay. We found Ed a dream to deal with, always returning our calls and guiding us through our purchase with the best advice. My husband and I have bought and sold many properties in Brisbane, Ipswich and the Lockyer Valley, and I must say that this purchase has been the easiest by far. Thanks Ed 👍
  • One of my worst experiences ever. Don't expect your bond back as there policy is to claim the full amount when you leave and then force you to fight to get any back. .then threaten you with legal action if you argue Houses look freshly painted because they always sting the previous tenants for the cost of repainting. An embarrassment to the Century 21 group
  • Seem pretty great while applying for house and things of such
  • Grossly inept on every level. Property management of the lowest calibre. Dishonesty reigns supreme in this cess pit of corruption. If integrity was a requirement of a real estate licence, Century 21 @ The Pier would be a fish and chip shop.
  • Two words - dishonest and deceitful. Nicole Law from this company is devoid of any good values. She will misrepresent facts to suit her needs, make a million excuses as to why she has not done something.Seems typical of the "cowboy" element in the Hervey Bay Real Estate cadre.

Where to stay in Hervey Bay

From one end of town to the other, Hervey Bay is dotted with places to stay, ranging from luxurious hotels and apartments to cozy guesthouses and hostels. Many of these put you right next to the beach, or just a couple of blocks inland with easy access to the coast. The town also features a selection of RV parks fully equipped with all the facilities you might need. There are also several camping areas in town, but if you prefer to spend your vacation surrounded by verdant nature, a much better choice is to hop on a ferry and head to nearby Fraser Island.
