This place had the best value wines in the area......staff were friendly and helpful.....nothing was a trouble...plenty to try.....must try jams and chutneys.....
We recently visited a number of Swan Valley wineries - of all those we visited, Windy Creek was the best value. Our tasting hostess was also one of the warmest and friendliest. This cellar door does n... read more »
We visit on a regular basis. Staff are very friendly, don't have a Resturant but can take a picnic lunch. Great wine and cheap, must try the fortifieds.
We discovered this little gem while on a wine tour of the valley about 3 years ago and is now favorite winery in the swan valley. Ruth and her staff are excellent and the wine is amazing and very reasonably priced. We have spent many a afternoon with friends relaxing in the garden with a bottle of Verdelho ( or 2) overlooking the vineyard & hills in the distance. Its a hard life ! It's one our 'must do' when we have overseas / interstate visitors. Check it out - you will not be disappointed - Beats some of those pretentious over priced establishments near by !!
Very obliging people, lovely variety of wines plus cheese and crackers, a must on your winery tour. Reasonable prices as well.
Great variety of whites, reds, and fortifieds. Jams, marmalades and relishes were nice too.
Was taken here on the Out & About Wine Tours coach and this was the best stop of the whole day! The wine was excellent, the range (reds, whites and ports) was even better (I think we tasted around 15!!) and the pickles/relishes/chutneys sold here are absolutely divine! I will be coming back when i run out of what I purchased on the day. Also they had the cheapest bottle prices from around $10 - nearly everywhere else we went was $20+ per bottle.
This is one of my favourite wineries in the Swan Valley. With an outdoor wine tasting setting surrounded by the vines it really is beautiful. Great wines - very cheap and the chutneys are delicious. Highly recommended.
