  • A very interesting little shop with a cafe attached. All sorts of different honeys and honey products. I love the fact you can get slabs of honeycomb dripping with honey and I could just chew on them pretty much all day long. A large range of (seasonal) honey varieties available. Gift packs of honey, sample jar sizes etc. Good place to stop if you love honey. Samples available for you to try before you buy.
  • Decided to go for a light lunch today and to also replenish my stock of "REAL" Honey. So, of course, it was time to go back to my favourite place in the Swan Valley. I think The House of Honey has it all. Lovely friendly owners, who obviously care about their customers and their business, and it shows. It has a great atmosphere, and is very relaxing. You can sit inside or outside in the sunshine, or even in the comfy shaded area. If you haven't been there then treat yourself. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. The staff are great and very friendly and I can't find fault with the place, I guess that's why I keep going back, where else would I get my Honey. I will certainly keep telling my friends to give it a try. Bee good to each other! :-)
  • Based upon our most recent visit I would have given zero stars if possible. In the 6 years we have been here we have visited many times, sometimes on our own, other times with visiting relatives. The most recent visit was part of a day out with my 84 year old mother in law. It was her second visit to House of Honey during her visit to see us. On this occasion we all had a cream tea. It transpired that, unbeknownst to us, my mother in law then decided to purchase six scones to take away, given that she had enjoyed her cream tea so much. When we queried how much the scones were she advised that she had paid $25. We advised that at over $4 each (when a cream tea was $7.50) this was very expensive but, as she felt somewhat embarrassed, she insisted that we didn't intervene at the time. I spoke to the assistant manager a day or two later and expressed our disappointment that, if that price was correct, the H of H staff had not checked with my mother in law and perhaps draw her attention to the fact that this wasn't exactly a good deal. As mentioned earlier, she is 84 year old and unfamiliar with the UK / AUS currency conversion. The assistant manager advised that they were "not at liberty" to highlight how expensive the scones were and that it could be considered rude to do so. I advised that this was nonsense and that the damage done in not pointing it out has far outweighed any damage that might have been done had they done the right thing and pointed out the folly of purchasing take away scones at that price. After seeking my advice on how to run her business, but refusing to agree to a commercial arrangement for me to impart such advice, the assistant manager acknowledged that she wasn't handling the call well and undertook to pass the matter on to the owner and get them to call me. They didn't, which is just as well because, judging by the responses to other negative reviews (that come across as sarcastic) allied to the fact that only positive reviews seem to be accepted as true, the likelihood was that any call between the owner and myself would end badly also. In summary, we won't be rushing back and, if we were to take visiting relatives there again we will keep a close eye on what they are buying and, more importantly, what they are being charged. We left with a bitter taste in our mouths, which was the last thing we expected!
  • A range of honey products and you can taste them. Bought the Blackbutt one and it turns out fantastic for face mask, leaving your skin super smooth!
  • Get your honey fix! Good service & reasonable price. Can do better if we get to see the bees or harvesting process? If u can make purchase decision fast, an hr is all u need here.
