First time was today. The young man that served us for wine tasting, Asian, was brilliant. Informative, funny and very friendly. We will be going again.
We had a really nice meal sitting out on the balcony .Even though it was busy the service was efficient without being rushed and the food was delicious.
Never been here before. There is plenty of parking and when it gets really busy you can park across the road. I tried the white wine which is a dry white, very nice. The red wine perfect, great to hav... read more »
Been 3 times and fantastic food and wine experiences, read some of the older negative reviews and thought it was unusual. Great venue with super vista to the hills, service is fine, and food has always been fantastic. Meats are of good quality, so is the fish and portions are more than adequate. Im happy to pay full price here, i leave satisfied. The wines, the blanc de blanc champers and sparkling pinot are quite palatable, worth a visit.
Have always had great experiences here; beautiful views, great food, but perhaps most impressive are the wines. The sparkling Shiraz, Blanc de Blanc, The SGT (Shiraz Grenache Tempranillo), Museum release Silk and Coffee Rock Shiraz are all standouts for quality and price. I highly recommend making a stop here for anyone deciding to venture into swan valley for a bit of wine tasting on a sunny afternoon!
It was during the week very busy the staff were fantastic the food.. well it's was the best barramundi I have ever tasted thanks for a great day..
Terrible Service and cheap quality food. The rabbit pie was dry, yuk and over baked The duck taste like it was rosted then dipped in caramel and then freezed - microwave food tastes better. Pork belly was just a slab of fat And Lamb rack had no meat on it All meal came with the half potato smash and 1 slice cauliflower with 4 slices of baby carrot and 1 slice of baby corn with some disgusting purple onions. mind you if you paying about $40 a meal you will expect a better taste and a decent portion. the $26 bottle of wine was just cheap. the only thing that was fresh and ok was 1 dozen oyesters we ordered. Terrible table service too. they will basically promise you a table by the vines and then when you rock up will offer you something else - disgusting
I'm sure where the first reviewer went but from experiences the food is first class, the wine list really good and the service friendly and informative. Easy parking, great Cellar and a view that makes you want to stay longer. First went there in 2005 and it just keeps getting better and considering I live 45km from the winery I think that answers the question as to why I have given Sittella 5 Stars.
