  • To be honest I thought this was going to be lame but I was wrong. If you like history and museums THIS place is for you. We didn't have enough time to see everything so make sure you plan a full day to walk around. Eat at the tearoom! Delicious! DO NOT miss the old cars. Sooo cool! Glad we got out even for a couple hours. Only complaint is if you are open until 5 - have people there all day instead of close things at 3 and 4. That was disappointing. And have someone to answer history questions about the buildings and such. Worth the time to go!
  • This place is seriously mind boggling and the range of memorabilia here is unbelievable. You can easily spend all day. An absolute credit to the owners and everyone involved in the maintenance and upkeep. A must-see!
  • Interesting, educational and entertaining. Good food and drinks in the cafe too.
  • Very pleasant way to spend the day. If it's hot use the umbrella provided and take plenty of water. Very dog friendly. Lovely meal at the cafe and reasonably priced.
  • We spent several hours here back in May '15. The village buildings and displays are excellent. It is still being extended. The cafe makes condiments from fruits grown on site. The lady at reception was very informative. Highly recommend a visit.
