Out for a drive, we just decided on a whim to visit Symbio. Not a lot of people there today. I guess the inclement weather in the region had something to do with the numbers. Lots of animals to see...

The Symbio Wildlife Park is really a nice place for kids to day out. So many animals to watch and so many animals to play with. The llama feeding experience was also wonderful. The kids enjoyed that. A sunny day made the experience even better. The amenities were quite good and the food, despite being a bit expensive, was okay. I would recommend buying a ticket online if you plan to arrive late in the morning.
Symbio is delightful. A wide range of animals including lots of Australian creatures but also many international ones like meerkats, marmosets, and cheetahs. Little kids love feeding the farm animals and wallabies. They've recently installed an adventure playground and splash park which are both in great condition. Plentiful toilets and parking, and a canteen is available or you can bring your own picnic - make a day of it. Essential visiting if you have kids 0-12.
Lovely wildlife park with a great range of Aussie animals! Loads of space and well looked after grounds. It surprisingly never feels overly busy or stressful and it’s easy to get out when you have all had enough - unlike the bigger zoos! Take a packed lunch, the cafe is small and very limited (but they are building a new one which is cool!). Splash park is amazing in the summer! Oh and there is a fabulous kids playground too! Everything you need for a fab family day out!
We have visited this Zoo more than 30 to 40 times. And keep visiting twice a week. One of the best Zoo on the planet. My son love to feed Kangaroo. Nice picnic area, play area & splash park. Really enjoying whenever we go there.
Amazing and great variety of animals to see. Well structured and layed out with a great combination of farm animals and zoo animals. Also great idea during the warmer weather such as a large playground and a Splash Park which has been recently installed. This is the only zoo I know to have a extreme enclose encounter with the animals apart from other farmyard places. While the distance is far, it's still a great scenic drive there
