Climb 2.5 km (1.4 miles) up The Pinnacle and you will be rewarded at the top with a feeling of accomplishment and a spectacular view overlooking the Grampians district. Choose between two routes based on your preferred level of difficulty. The Wonderland route is more strenuous with a continuous ascent via pathways and inclined steps; it involves some rock hopping and walking through a narrow gap in Silent Street. The Sundial route is much flatter with a less steep incline. Follow the yellow arrows to the top.   • The Pinnacle is in the Grampians Mountain Ranges about 3 hours drive westerly from Melbourne. To get to the Pinnacle you have to go through the Grand Canyon which is superb especially if it has been r...  more »
  • Quite a difficult walk to the top, we had very young children who were capable of climbing to the top. But it was a little daunting with them. Took the longer but easier route back to the car 
  • This was a hard climb for me, but not for most! It was so well worth the climb, the view was magnificent.
