  • Been there a number of times over the years. Always full of interesting stuff. A wide variety of exhibits from very large farm machinery to small items from yesteryears every day life.
  • So much history and fine collection of exhibits that would of not been possible without the generous donations over the years from local residents. Highly recommend spending a good couple of hours here.
  • Great people in Gulgong, the museum was fantastic the local driving conditions are good easy navigation, and absolutely great dry dirt road conditions , the mines are generally a pain in the ☆ss with long coal trains on crossings
  • I remember visiting this place over a decade ago and being impressed then with the amount of history in their collection. In a recent trip to Dubbo, we decided to take my 2 daughters there on a side trip to see if it was still there. Not only was it still there, the collection has expanded even more since I was there last. We spent hours wandering around in there and there was something of interest to each member of the family! Well done to the historical society volunteers who man and curate this museum. A must see!
