  • Lovely views of the area from above. Bit of walk around to find things but worth it. Is only just over 1 km walk.  more »
  • Keep aside at least an hour - well worth the walk - take your camera you may see some wild goats. Just wear good walking shoes.  more »
  • The cave 'hermit', an Italian migrant, made his home among the rocks on the hill above Griffith. It is fascinating to see the work he did all of 50 years ago, and still clearly visible. This is a must...  more »

  • Worth the visit if you happen to be in Griffith. It gives you a wide angle perspective of the Town and farms around it. Been here twice and the scenic drive has always been peculiar. Like a gathering of people blowing their barbary sheep horns, or a parade of banger racing cars. Oh and plenty of rocks. Trek down and you will see the cave where the Hermit of Griffith used to live.
  • Well worth a look. You get a fantastic perspective of the town. There is a small walk from the main cave to the gardens. It took us about half an hour to do and was great. Its an easy walk and there are numbers on the track to follow. Doug
  • Great place to explore and hike
  • Beautiful views
  • Hermits cave hmmmm well hermits I use the term loosely. Did not see any hermits. Did not hear any hermits. I am not a hermit. Yet I just walked straight in! As a proud and outspoken member of the uggboot community. I am out there. Even if it is in a cave.
