  • Small shop, different varieties of honey available for tasting. Some unusual flavors such as the summer blossom which is made from pollinated vegetables such as carrots and celery. Leatherwood honey does not taste like leather wood. Friendly shop owner.
  • Friendly and helpful stuff, they let you taste the honey so it's easy to choose your favorite. The honey is very good and the price is honest. The location it's easy to reach and there is a big parking. A good place to take some gift for friend from your trip in Tasmania.
  • While I keep my own bees I can’t stay away from other honey producers. Bruny Island Honey produces a variety of honey and honey based product such as mustards. You can taste them all. Try before the buy. I really liked the “forest” honey - very subtle blend and not too sweet. They also do a “fennel” honey which has a distinctive flavour. It comes from the big island (Tasmania that is) where the bees are used to pollinate fennel plants which are grown for their seed. They also produce Bruny Island leatherwood honey which is only produced in Tasmania and I really like the flavour. And if you need a refreshment you can grab honey ice cream or take one home for dinner (dessert that is).
  • Loved the friendly staff here. Lots of honey tastings in a chilled environment. We purchased a few types of honey after enjoying the tastings. Great value too.
  • Great little honey place show casing local Tasmanian produce! Especially the Tasmanian Leatherwood, very floral and tasty honeys. This place gets very packed towards closing time, especially once your buses bombard this place with tourists. Overal very friendly staff and great experience!
