Australian Reptile Park brings you to reptile and wildlife paradise. Get up close to the animals: See the giant 165 kg (363 lbs) Galapagos tortoise, pet a possum, and hand-feed the kangaroos. You can also watch the alligator feeding at the lagoon and wildlife shows starring Burmese pythons and dingoes. Head to the snake and venom collection to learn about production of antivenin used for saving lives. Don’t miss a chance to see one of largest diplodocus replicas and Elvis the crocodile, dubbed the zoo’s unhappiest resident, since an attack on park staff and their lawnmower left him with two lost teeth. • Our kids 7 and 10 love this place. The shows are really entertaining, Ranger Mick has a great sense of humour and his jokes appeal to the parents as much as the kids! The photo opportunities are good ...  read more »
  • Visited in a Sunday morning. Good place for families, specially for kids. There's a picnic area with bbq where the kangaroos stay around. If you're expecting to see many animals, there are better zoos. But it's a good place to spend the day, take photos with pythons and gators, have fun with the kids.
  • Very disappointing. Wouldn't waste my money again!! Constantly walking up through corridors to get to see exhibitions. Wasnt fun. One or very little animals in area's. Bad advertising not many animals that said were there. Old and out dated. Just money making. Very disappointing! !!!!
  • I enjoyed this "zoo" very much! All staff members were super friendly. Ranger Mick gave outstandingly entertaining talks that were both informative and hilarious. The weather wasn't too hot so the kangaroos were more social than usual, and they let us pet them for a while. Great photos to take home with me. We also posed with "Fluffy", a huge female python! Wow. Incredible experience for us (ages from 5 to 40) and I will definitely go back to the Reptile Park during my next visit to NSW.
  • We took some overseas visitors to this park. There was ample parking. The fun started from the time we entered the reception area, where tawny frog mouths, amongst other animals, were hanging out behind the cashiers! One of our party had to rest after an operation. There was nowhere to sit but outside in the cold but at least the sun was out. It was a very cold day though. While feeding the kangaroos with kangaroo food bought at the park, a 12 year old in our party had a kangaroo latch onto the paper bag. As he was pulling it away from the roo, a park staffer came by and started berating him for allowing the roo to eat things it isn't allowed to eat. That was totally uncalled for - she jumped to an incorrect conclusion. Aside from that it was a great day. The visitors were able to get great photos with the beautiful baby koalas on show, before the crowds came along after watching a demonstration. There were great walks and displays, both outside and in. There were staff walking around with snakes; they (the staff!) were friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. Food and drink was very expensive. It was served by a great bunch of friendly young guys though. We were extremely impressed by how well the park was kept and how healthy the animals all looked. It was a pleasure to visit this park and I would highly recommend it, albeit with your own food and drink! Our overseas visitors loved seeing and interacting with our Aussie animals and I was one very proud local! Well done to everyone at Australian Reptile Park. You've left us all with great memories!
  • We visited the reptile park yesterday and enjoyed our day during autumn holiday. We all enjoyed to walk around and meeting reptiles carried by lovely and mostly young and enthusiastic park rangers. They answered our questions, we learned a lot from them. Thank you. I did however not enjoy at all the talks given by ranger Mick, he insulted children and their families in front of a whole crowd. I do not see the benefit or joy in that at all. All families come to the park to learn, certainly not to be insulted. Who benefits if he makes a little girl cry , then goes on to laugh about it, then goes on to ask her brother if he was a crier, too? This is public shaming and an embarrassment for the whole park and their leading staff. I wish he was supervised more and asked to present his talks in a positive manner. There were a few people around us who left upon these tasteless ' jokes'.
