  • I did the half day horse riding and had a great experience. My horse was well trained which was great because I was a first time rider. Our guide was Renee with her horse Brian. Renee was awesome. Made the trail very fun, she told some trivia about the land and horses along the way. She was very knowledgeable and constantly checked in to see if everyone was ok- thank you Renee. Can't wait to go back
  • Had such a great time riding the 2hr trail! It was my partner's first time riding and he had an absolute blast! Andre was the best guide I've ever had, teaching us and giving really helpful riding tips along the way. The guides also took photos of us with our phones at certain stops. The time flew because we were having so much fun. Truly a memorable experience, and we'll definitely be back again! Thanks Glenworth!
  • I have taken the 2 hour horse ride at Glenworth twice before and would definitely recommend. This place is family friendly and so are the trail rides. Absolutely loved it and will be back again soon.
  • I went there today for the tough mudder challenge. This place is pretty cool! I'm looking forward to come back for camping and to do any of the different activities they offer, but just the general look of the farm is worth the travel there!
  • Basically, Glenworth Valley Horseriding stole $200 from my fiance and her friend. When I found out I emailed them to find out what could be done and got a phone call back from a very polite and well spoken young lady claiming to be a manager who told me the same thing, except that she lied and told me they had tried to re-book for a later time. So, Glenworth Valley Horseriding is staffed by thieves and liars? I would strongly recommend finding another venue for your horseriding adventures, we certainly have and will NEVER visit Glenworth Valley Horseriding again. Thank you Mary Rayner for your response. No need to apologise for the delay in your response. My fiance and I have visited Glenworth Valley Horseriding several times in the past. In 2015 I dropped my hyphenated surname and my fiance has recently ceased using her previous married name which may explain why you do not have a particularly long history of our visits, that and we often ride with friends and at times they may have made the bookings under their own names but I can assure you, we have visited your beautiful grounds to ride your beautiful horses on many occasions. My fiance and her friend have taken several un-guided rides there and yes, they have tacked up their own horses at your facility as both women have owned their own horses (one still does, but you don't take an expensive Arabian dressage horse on bush trails) they are very aware of their kit and prefer to set it up themselves. It is unfortunate that the 'horse manager' did not know who my fiance was or recognise her from previous visits but I guess you do have quite a few people coming through your gates. Never the less, the whole situation has been handled poorly and getting stuck in Sydney traffic does not give Glenworth Valley Horse Riding the right to rob my fiance and her friend of $200, irrespective of your "48 hour cancellation policy" which I really don't care about. The only other time offered was for 2pm that afternoon, a time which was not suitable due to the fact that my fiance had to be scrubbed for a theater case at 3pm at East Sydney. Apparently, Glenworth Valley horse riding was never going to be open at any other time??? I believe that my fiance did apologise for being late due to circumstances beyond her control but still Glenworth Valley Horse Riding was not flexible. Mary, comparing a patron's late arrival for a relaxing horse ride in the bush to being late for a commercial flight is completely unrealistic. I too have missed a flight and understand that a $100+ million dollar airliner sitting on a tarmac cost an airline a small fortune. Delays due to a person not reaching the airport in time when gates have closed, the cargo hold of the airplane is closed and the other passengers have boarded and the aircraft is ready for pushback are a MUCH bigger deal than 2 ladies wanting to ride a horse. I too have missed a flight for being late but the airline was accommodating. They did not take my money and give me nothing in return, they put me on the next available flight and they offered me an apology even though I was the late one! Go figure. We have since spoken to many of our contacts in the horse world, including a couple of people who manage certain stores which supply saddles, bridles, clothing and such to horse riders and we have been sure to make sure they are well aware of the fact your facility stole $200 from us. We will continue to tell as many people who will listen that Glenworth Valley Horse Riding stole $200 from us until such time as you back down and return what is rightfully ours. Stick it out as long as you want, it's your reputation.
