The Beachouse, Glenelg

#4 of 17 in Things to do in Glenelg
The Beachouse is a family entertainment complex. Shoot down the waterslides for a refreshing splash, especially on a hot day. Drive around in the bumper cars, pilot bumper boats, take in the scenery from the giant Ferris wheel, or play a round of miniature golf. You can even enjoy the fun in the winter, as there are indoor, heated waterslides as well. The Beachouse is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Glenelg Edition.

  • A Great Place for Family Fun...Best Part, we had most of the rides for ourselves as there was not so much rush. We had a great time there. Staff was quite courteous and helpful. A great place to go with family or group of friends.
  • Needs an update. Very outdated Unfortunately our visit was met with out of order/outdated amusement games. Just a few examples would be the basketball shooter games, some had 1 ball others had 7. Dance revolution machine step buttons didn’t work and the dodgems didn’t have an attendant so we couldn’t use them. Place is overpriced. The ticket machines are a gimmick as there’s about three tiny things you can choose from with your winnings.
  • Lots of video games. Kids love the slides. Spent an hour on that. Water boats was fun. Did not do dodgem cars or mini golf. There is a kiddy castle and large merry-go-round. Food and drinks reasonably priced and food looks good. Paid parking is underneath.
  • Always a great time at The Beachouse. Very helpful and friendly staff. It can be a bit expensive when taking a couple of kids but today we had a Scoupon voucher which made it much more affordable for an afternoon of water slides.
  • Fun day at the beach for the family. There is lots to do at the beachouse including water slides, bumper cars and a mini golf course plus many more activities. There is parking underneath or along the streets. Though you can spend many hours there, the prices are not cheap for the activities.
