  • Group exercise classes always fun..friendly staff, seniors discounts-a 10 visit pass is useful. Great cafe, fastest service! Minuses are 3hr parking, apparently used also by workers/students opposite,we got a $79 fine ×2 in school hols. Hard to find dry floors in changeroom.
  • The facilities are excellent. Staff are generally courteous and professional. The difficulty is finding a place to swim. The facilities are so heavily booked out with swimming classes that one often pays to get in, only to find no room to relax and enjoy the facilities. I'd suggest looking through the window to make sure the pools aren't all packed out with swimming classes before paying the fee, as this one is often inaccessible to the general public. The other public pools in the area are less likely to be packed, and there are several about ten minutes' drive away. The wave pool is great fun, and the toddler pools are very well designed. These plus the outdoor pool are the only facilities not taken over by swim classes, so bear in mind that if they're all you're after it can be great, as long as there's room.
  • One of the best places to take your child swimming. Several different pools available. The greatest driver is the Wave Pool that provides unbelievable entertainment for the kids. The family changing rooms get very busy but overall a fantastic facility.
  • It's a big centre with lots of activities. We went there to spend a couple of relaxing hours through sauna, steaming room and spa. The spa area is far from the sauna which makes it a bit of a walk to get from one area to the other. But other then that, staff was friendly and ready to help out.
  • My sister and I had a pleasant experience at the MARC. We both commented on how clean and orderly the place was. It's well equipped, with a 50m outside pool so people can swim enjoyably in the summer. There's also a 50m indoor pool. The 50m indoor pool has really salty water for some reason, but it's nice that it's heated. There's also a wave pool that doesn't have very big waves, which is kind of anticlimactic. But I suppose it's because it's meant for young kids. Probably our favourite thing about the MARC was the 50m outdoor pool. It even has lanes labeled "slow, medium, and fast", so you can swim laps at whichever speed you'd like. The price was pretty decent, but their memberships are kind of confusing as they're based on visits instead of a single year. Overall, the MARC is a great place to go for a swim, and I'd highly recommend it.
