Little Creatures Brewing, Fremantle

4.3
#1 of 19 in Breweries in Western Australia
A brewing company established in 2000, Little Creatures Brewing takes its name from a song lyric by the band Talking Heads and refers to the live yeast cells that turn sugars in malt wort into alcohol. The brewery building was originally constructed to house yachts participating in the 1987 America's Cup. It then housed a crocodile farm for a few years. The brewery has won a number of awards for beer excellence. Drop by for a meal at the brewery's restaurant and a taste of some of the brewery's most popular brands, such as the original Little Creatures Pale Ale, Rogers (an amber ale), or Pipsqueak (an apple cider). • Had a nice visit to this place in August. My wife and I shared one of the tasting trays of 10 different ales, which was really reasonably priced. We also had a couple of fantastic pizzas and a big bowl of chips. Everything tasted great and the service was descent too. It was a little tricky finding somewhere to sit but overall it was well worth it. Highly recommended.
  • A Fremantle pillar! The beer is good, in fact Rogers is the only drinkable mid-strength I know of ( I drank a middy by accident once), the food and serving sizes are decent, great location and atmosphere. It can be a struggle to get a table at times, let alone a close parking spot but if you aren't in a rush, it's a fine spot to spend a fine Spring arvo with friends. On my last visit, the service was faultless from our patient and attentive waitress. The food and drinks came out in impressive time. Will be back soon.
  • What can I say Little creatures is the end of all roads. To food quality meal portions taste and atmosphere is by far the best I have ever experienced. Every other establishment is a blimp on these guys radar. If I could rate this place higher I would and strongly recommend everyone to come and experience this wonderful establishment. Looking forward to my next visit
  • We ordered those magnificent little sliders and they were delish . Bacon was little crunchy but nice. Carrot cake was nice . The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and looked superb but we found a hair in the middle. Ben was very attentive and was apologetic. Great customer service and recognition. The help was more than professional. Definitely come back.
  • Food is probably around 1-2 dollars too expensive and the seating is like a college refectory with long benches and tables, makes it a little impersonal. Foods good though and pizzas are great. Nice beer pale ale and IPA. They should try make a double IPA most people only go for a few pints so something tastier and stronger would be good.
