Little Creatures Brewing, Fremantle
(4.2/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
A brewing company established in 2000, Little Creatures Brewing takes its name from a song lyric by the band Talking Heads and refers to the live yeast cells that turn sugars in malt wort into alcohol. The brewery building was originally constructed to house yachts participating in the 1987 America's Cup. It then housed a crocodile farm for a few years. The brewery has won a number of awards for beer excellence. Drop by for a meal at the brewery's restaurant and a taste of some of the brewery's most popular brands, such as the original Little Creatures Pale Ale, Rogers (an amber ale), or Pipsqueak (an apple cider). • We had our wedding at Little Creatures in the function rooms last night. It was hands down one of the greatest nights of our life. The staff we absolutely brilliant, helpful, attentive and always smiling. The food was fantastic and being constantly brought out. The venue was set up amzingly with an incredible atmosphere. They took care of everything in the lead up to the wedding. Can't recommend it enough
  • Pretty good. Do not go here if you don't like hipsters, every employee is a hipster. The food is really good, though a bit pricy. The service is great, so friendly and helpful. The toilets are clean and covered in really cool art. Outside is kept warm and undercover in winter, and has a sand pit and toys for the kids. Overall, a bit expensive, but worth the money you pay.

  • Beef brisket was amazing, as was the sweet corn with manchego, and grilled halloumi. Frites were slightly limp and the nachoes were boring. Put this down to poor menu choices, would definitely go back. Beer and sunset views were outstanding.
  • Food pretty good for a beer focussed water front attraction. Full standard range of beers on tap. Only comment is I would love to see some small batch seasonals just available here as a drawcard. Small range of beers can get boring very quickly.
