  • Comprehensive exhibition of all of WA’s regiments’ history from early colony days through to present day. Incredibly informative and complimented by very well informed guides. Really worth visiting. Note photo ID needed to get access. Sincere thanks to my guide who patiently answered all my questions!
  • If you have an interest in Australian military history, particuarly Western Australia mil history then this museum is a must see. Free parking is located adjacent to the museum. The entrance fee is reasonable. Small shop located at the admission entrance point. Many well displayed items.
  • The Army Museum of Western Australia is located at Artillery Barracks Fremantle. Well worth a visit if interested in military history, beware the museum has limited opening times. Excellent collection of artefacts spread across two levels of the Main Artillery Barracks building. Outside there is also a large collection of artillery pieces and military vehicles.
  • Good museum and entry fee very reasonable and a lot on show the only downside is street parking
  • What can you say, it is a must for any Australian whose ancestors have served. Well done with personal guide. Very confronting in the POW area. How they suffered
