  • The farmers didnt have teeth. My uncle molested a goat and we got a restraining order, but if i didnt then id go again!!!!! I witnessed my african neighbour smack a cow with a shovelband it was the most breath taking moment ibhave ever experienced kther than my grandad's funeral 😜💕💯😫🙌🙏
  • ANIMALS WERE GREAT.....AVOID THE STAFF! I had read a few reviews about rude staff, but thought maybe it was people being a little precious. WELL I WAS WRONG! At 10am they milk a cow, through a side barn window you can watch the same cow eating. My 4 yr old nephew, picked up one blade of straw from the ground outside and held it out towards the cow. Suddenly a female staff member jumps half out the window and yells in his face "DON'T TOUCH THE COWS FOOD, IT MAKES IT VERY ANGRY!'. No need to yell at a 4 year old, who did not touch the cows food. Put up a sign outlining rules and the mean time...."CALM YOUR FARM"! you wont see us again.
  • Amazing farmers market!! Gorgeous natural setting, heaps if high quality artisan vendors. Parking available and also the added bonus of all the "farm" stuff going on.
  • Wonderful café and beautiful walking paths. Also every second Saturday of the week they have a farmers market with terrific fresh and local produce. My fav is baw baw organics!
  • Great place to take kids that love animals. Took my sister's kids here and they loved it. Didn't have interactions with the staff like others have had, I think people forget this place is run by volunteers. The day we went was a market day so a lot of the gates were locked and crowds were big. Parking was crazy so we parked a few blocks away from the Abbotsford Convent site and walked our way in. The farm isn't big which is great as tired kids are terrible, a lot easier to get around this place before crankiness sets in than the Zoo.
