  • Small museum with fascinating insights into the whaling industry. The relationship between the whales and the indigenous aboriginal people was particularly interesting.  more »

  • Really interesting place. I went here as a teenager almost 20 years ago. Unfortunately nothing appeared to have changed in 20 years. The kids were a bit bored. Great if you're interested in history.
  • Great museum with really knowledgeable staff. We where apart of a cruise, and treated really well by local staff. The museum is very small however the locals told great stories of the realationship between the killer whales and whalers.
  • Surprisingly interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed strolling through the well planned and informative museum. I enjoyed the various video displays throughout the displays and learning about the stories that built Eden and the Sapphire coast. I strongly recommend making the time to go to this museum every time you are in the region.
  • The older woman on the desk could really use a refresher on customer service. SO RUDE!! We intended on going through the museum and also buy souvenirs but her manners, or lack thereof, put us off. We went and spent our money elsewhere. Very disappointing for someone in a tourism job to have such an appalling attitude. I think perhaps her retirement is LONG overdue 👎👎
  • Fantastic, must stop and visit if you are near. Fascinating story about the link between whale and man.
