  • At the Tasman bay national park lookout offers a super view on pirates bay and so more or less on the sights on the other side. The blow hole is interesting to see that on the day of the sound was not as expected. Devils kitchen was not worth seeing. The Tasman arch for that already.

  • Our favourite area in Tasmania by far! The Cape Raoul and Cape Huay hikes were amazing. Pirates bay cove, tessellated beach, remarkable cave and numerous blowholes were also great. The places near the road are pretty touristy but the hikes get you away from that. Beware bad drivers in parking lots! It is recommended to buy a park pass so you don't get a ticket. Google or ask around on where to buy. Our fave campground in the area was in Port Arthur.
  • Impressive looking sea cliffs, you can go on a speed boat tour with "the spirit of the Tasman" and they will take you past all the sites. You will see seals and albatross, if your lucky some whales and dolphins as well. Worlds tallest sea cliff is on the tour. As well and Australias most southern point. There is also Cormorants nesting in little ledges on the sides on the cliffs.
  • A stunning national park with many walking options and a beautiful beach, there is also a shipwreck you can snorkel around if you are prepared to kyack to the far side of the bay or walk around to the beach.
  • Beautiful part of the country. Well worth a visit
  • 3 capes walk definitely worth the time and cost
