Bit skeptical at the beginning but worth the money, a day out for all ages. This place has tropical fruits from all over the world so it's worth a visit. Food at cafe was good but slightly on the higher side as expected. Fruit tasting was a good experience, we got to taste 6 to 7 types of fruits, some of the fruit you wouldn't find in the local markets. Animal encounters was good too, we were in small groups so everyone got chance spend time patting and feeding the animals. The boat ride to the mini island was great, they have mini train ride( free) for all ages( including adults), putt putt and other activities for kids and adults. It's a good place to visit for the whole family.
Absolutely loved it! The staff were so friendly and the quality of information they provide along the way was great! It's perfect for adults and children. Would highly recommended, worth the money and we will definitely be returning : ) thank you for a great day out!
It cost $100 for me, my mum, and my 2 sons to get in. That price included the fruit tasting, the guided tour through the plantation, macadamia nut cracking, my kids got to pick their own banana to eat. We went to the little petting zoo area which was fun, and then took a boat ride on their little river, I thought that was really beautiful, then on the little island you can take a free minature train ride or play free miniature golf. It was quite a different experience but a great one.
Where to start? When trying to purchase tickets there is only 1 attendant & they're also serving people purchasing fruit from their fruit shop. Fruit purchases take priority over ticket purchasers. No efpos working in the restaurant, and no on site ATM. So forced to purchase something from the gift shop to get cash out to pay for food. Tractor ride (the only way to get around the park) has reserved seats & times, no one tells you this when purchasing tickets. Tractor ride turns up & the ride operator has let too many people from the wrong times on so we miss our allotted time. We had our 1 & 3 year old with us & trying to explain that we had to catch the next tractor (over an hour away) was not easy. As mentioned earlier, tractor ride is the only way to get around the park. Once the tractor drops you to the animal petting/ boat ride/ train ride area at the bottom of the park there's no way to leave except via tractor. And staff expect you to leave in around an hour (maybe it was just late in the day, but they were ushering us to catch the tractor back). Bad park layout, expensive (make sure you claim you're a local, I couldn't imagine paying full price here), incompetent staff. Would not go back.
Just a great day out with the kids. I initially thought the ticket price was dear for what you got but I was wrong! We had a ball, you go on a plantation tour, boat ride, mini train ride, petting zoo and a fruit tasting session! When you put it all together it was great value for money and a great day had by all!
