Best day out with kids, we ended up going twice! Advise to take a picnic and spend the day there. Fruit tasting, tour and boat ride and baby animals to feed. A fantastic day. Will go whenever we visit... more »
Three generations of my family visited here and we all absolutely loved it. There was a tractor ride, a boat ride, a fruit information session and a gift shop. It was definitely a unique experience. M... more »
Informative and fun. Great for young children. Lots of different types of fruit to taste. Friendly staff. Not cheap, but worth it with an Adults at Kids price voucher. more »
I was a bit sceptical at first looking at the flyer and paying an enormous entrance fee. However, it was worth every dollar! The entry fee includes a lot of different activities, you see and learn a lot, its always interesting and the staff friendly. There a boat ride, train ride, fruit tasting, animal zoo, plantation tour included. There is a nice cafe and shop where they sell all their self-made produce from their own grown fruit - delicious!!! We had a fantastic day here and will recommend this treasure.
The price is a bit expensive although justified if you're only ever going here once! I learned a lot about fruit. They also do fruit tastings and have a good ice cream shop where you can mix and choose which fruits you want.
We had a wonderful time at Tropical fruit world. We got to see many wonderful fruits growing on trees and we sampled quite a few too. The tour guide was really informative and there was plenty to see and do. I highly recommend going down to it if you are planning a trip to the gold coast.
Such great fun. Very expensive, but we really enjoyed the tours and tastings. Allow a good 2.5 hours here
Wow absolutely beautiful place me & wife took a plane from Syd to Bris, drove to Mackay & on our last day back we had half a day before flight & went to TFW wow we left this as a last thing on our list/may even miss. We didn't do our research or see any photos just heard about it thought it was just a fruit store. Mind blowing beauty if you love tropical fruit or love to grow amazing rare fruits, you must see this place. Just a heads up it's not a tour for eating fruit but mainly for seeing the plantation, it's so unreal couldn't believe how beautiful & how much variety, Quality & Quantity. Also you get a piece of bread to feed the ducks on the water bus + you can feed some other animals on the tour like kangaroos etc. Enjoy your macadamia cracking.
