Bangor Wine & Oyster Shed is an award winning cellar door, farm gate shop and restaurant in Dunalley Tasmania, brimming with cool climate Bangor wines, freshly shucked oysters and local produce.

Perched on a hill beside the vineyard, at Bangor we focus on a 'paddock to plate' philosophy: what you enjoy is harvested from the vines and the sea before you. • Lovely friendly staff. We grabbed a bottle of lovely Rose and took the left overs with us. Had a lovely platter of local produce and enjoyed the serenity!  more »

  • I think this place is outstanding... The cellar door is set in the top of a hill making the most of the stunning views all around. The wine and cider are brilliant and the menu is packed with premium quality local produce. I enjoyed sitting outside with a bottle of wine and a platter, to listen to the live music recently.
  • The Bangor wine & Oyster shed serves delicious food and is a very pretty place. If you are around Dunalley its definitely worth a visit for a good meal. the oysters were fresh and we ordered the scallops rissoto which was absolutely delicious. They even served extra scallops since they had run out of the Abalone dish we ordered. The staff are quite friendly and service is good.
  • Quality of food is good. Have had oysters and their platter before and all is very fresh. This time I had the Lamb burger with slaw (pictured). It was tasty but at $24 a small basket of chips would have topped it off. The smoked salmon papardelle looked amazing, wife rated it! Love the location and definitely recommend a visit for anyone that wants some tranquility in a rural setting with good food and wine. Kids are fine to bring and on a nice day there is a cubby house they can play in and plenty of space to play out front in view of the parents from the deck area where you can perch with a vino! Plenty of parking. Good to book but if your coming at a non peak period early before lunch you'll get a seat.
  • Wow. Just stop here and take in the gorgeous views and the delicious oysters. Family run place (for 5 generations i believe). Incredibly friendly, appropriately priced and delicious on all fronts. Stop here and thank yourself later.
  • Delicious food, try the Oysters Kilpatrick. Delicious variety of Pinots, try the Abel Tasman Pinot Noir. This place would be amazing for birthdays, weddings and parties. Great friendly staff were super helpful, especially Charlotte. Thank you for a lovely day.
