Delta Force Paintball Dingley - Melbourne Reviews
I recently went to Delta Force Paintball with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. We all had a ripper of a time, including some of us that were a little hesitant initially. Everyone we related... more »
We booked a miniball party for a dozen or so 10/11 year olds here. It was quite clear to us from the start that the company model is one of add-on sales in terms of making you think it is not too expe... more »
We actually won this paintball session for 10 kids through a fundraiser but then had to purchase the paintballs ourselves. Our group of 10 boys aged 9-11 had an absolute ball. The centre was extremely... more »
Far too expensive. Costs not explained properly and rely on group peer pressure to get everyone to buy more expensive packages. Charged 50 cents per credit card transaction even after asking me to buy the gloves separately. Pretty sure a 50 cent transaction fee on $12 is now illegal? Did the same on $7 kiosk purchase. Took forever to get the group in and started, even though we'd called ahead and tried to preorganise everything and take payments up front. Said we'd have private games but then forced us into a 'big game' with everyone. We all just stood by as we didn't want to waste paintballs on people we don't know. Wasted half an hour. On the plus side, great maps and enthusiastic young staff running the games. Just a business model that lacks customer friendliness and tries to suck cash at every turn. Sorry but it's true.
Enthusiastic and efficient staff. Great for birthdays and kids parties. A bit of a smell from garbage dump right next door. Some of the suits and gear is a bit old and worn. Otherwise great for a game of paintball.
We had a good time, and most of the staff were really great. They take your ID cards for the day which is fine, but they forgot to give them back to us. We all live quite far away from Dingley, so we asked for them to be posted to us. They refused and said we need to collect them. There was one chance we had to collect them and I called up and they said there was nobody there to give them to us. They don't even have the managers mobile number to call for him to come and give us back our ID's.. I don't know what kind of business they're running if the staff don't even have their mangers mobile number. They really didn't have much interest in helping us at all.
Great experience. First time I did paintball. Enthusiastic instructors/support staff. It is bit expensive day out as I bought Terminator pack(1000 ammunition) plus food and drinks. Different missions runs every half an hour with break of 10 minutes. I was exhausted and out of ammo after 4 missions. Your group get divided in to two sub groups and play each other in different missions. Helmets are provided but recommend to get gloves as it stings when you get hit on fingers.
Expensive!!! Good layout and games, staff tried. You go through a lot of balls very quickly if you actually want to shoot people and they don't have an 'all you can shoot' option so it gets expensive quickly. Expect to pay $200+ to enjoy all games throughout the day.
