A great little stop if you're visiting Denmark. Beautiful surrounds, lovely wine, both traditional & tasty plowman style meals, toys for the kids to play with, a warm fire, food/wine tastings, and friendly staff. Enjoy! Matt
I saw a dangerous approach to food safety that could end in tragedy here. Please for your safety consider eating somewhere else. I had lunch here and at the end of it my friend who I was with purchased a bottle of white wine. On arriving home, a long drive away I noticed a dead spider floating in the unopened bottle. I am not an expert but the spider looked to be of a poisonous variety and the wine had gone cloudy. I then drove all the way back. As soon as I approached the manager I was treated like an obnoxious inconvenience. They only offered to exchange the wine bottle, nothing complimentary was offered and I don't remember hearing any apology. They then said it was a normal thing. I am not joking about that, they said it was a normal part of bottling. At this point I decided that I needed to keep the bottle to give to the health department or whichever department is associated with food safety here. Upon stating that the staff became somewhat threatening stating they had witnesses that I would not give them the bottle. It seemed they were trying to pressure me into giving it to them. Serving possible poison should never be considered normal behavior by a restaurant. Please consider eating somewhere else. The service isn't just bad here, it is likely quite dangerous. I genuinely believe their slapdash attitude to the food safety could end in tragedy. Remember, they told me they consider serving wine with a dead spider in it to be a normal part of running a winery.
OK food OK - good wine Great views ! We had the 70 dollar platter and it was good but nothing too special and for 70 I would expect more.

Such a nice little winery with a beautiful outdoor area and a lake.
A warm and relaxing place. Serves fantastic food such as Beef & Shiraz Pies and Chicken & Coconut Curry. Fast and friendly service as well. We really enjoyed our visit here. Highly recommended!
