4.5/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web
One of the first places visited by Europeans in 1616, Shark Bay is a World Heritage Site that's home to over 10,000 sea cows, a large number of bottlenose dolphins, and 26 other threatened Australian species. These animals live around the area's shallow banks, peninsulas, and islands. The protected status of the land has kept these species safe for many years, and the Australian Wildlife Conservatory fights to keep it that way. Your visit to the national parks surrounding the area will give you a chance to see these species in their natural environment. Plan your visit to Shark Bay and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Denham vacation route planner.
