National Park Nature / Park
Green patched red dirt roads that hug the seashore are the claim to fame at Francois Peron National Park. Book a four-wheel drive car with a guide and driver to get the most out the area. Your tour will include visits to the lagoons, the sloping red shores, and an erudite introduction to local animal life. Species include emus, various bird varieties, and dolphins that play near the coastline. Save a few dollars by touring yourself near the stunning lagoons. Be sure to bring food and water because you won't find kiosks inside the park. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Denham holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Francois Peron National Park and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • This place is well worth a visit, but you MUST be fully prepared, plenty of food, water, a first aid kit and fly spray/ netting. Your vehicle must be fully loaded up with a lift kit, compressor, cb radio and spare tyre. Some parts of the Park are not for the inexperienced, especially Herald Bight and some sections of the track up to the top. Be prepared to get out and raise/ lower air pressure and if you get bogged, don't panic. Great campsites and the views are amazing...especially the burnt out Holden at Skipjack point....
  • Capes as a tourist person are brilliant
  • Had no 4wd😑 only saw the hot pool
  • If you have a 4x4 then this park is the place to go and play with it, amazing tracks and stunning shorelines and beaches, loved it
  • Nice NP
