  • What else would you want to do on a rainy, freezing day in Daylesford. That's right - go hunting for a bargain. This is my fifth visit in so many years and i have not been disappointed yet. You name i...  more »
  • Have visited a few times now as it is huge. No matter what you may be looking for I'm sure you'll find it here. Even the teens loved looking through each stall & there are PLENTY of them.  more »
  • Great place to look around. You could easily spend a couple of hours here if you are into antiques and trash/treasure.  more »

  • What fun! An amazing place to visit. Huge variety of 2nd hand odds and ends, an enormous well catered cafe, all under the one roof. Put aside a few hours for this one as it will take a long time to get through the many isles of interesting, unusual or fascinating old and not so old treasures, including quality hand made crafts and artisan goods.
  • Today my grandchildren and I drove from Melbourne to Daylesford to visit the Mill Market. My daughter so excited to show us around. The market stalls were amazing mix of nostalgia and recent times. A treasure hunt for the senses. The exception that greeted us was at the cafe. Having arrived around lunch time with two hungry children we chose a corner table and let the kids have their sandwiches I had a drumstick with carrot and cucumber sticks to share with them hardly a meal. We ordered drinks. As we enjoyed our surroundings and coffee ( rather expensive) . We were approached by the manager in a stern manner to pack up as food was not allowed. Stay to finish your drinks. Not possible as the kids were hungry and became unable to remain still while not able to eat. The manager happy to see us off with Styrofoam cups as replacement. Her reason for being so unwelcome on a very quiet afternoon was she had to pay the rent for this place. Well the stall holders pay their fees too with no complaint if we dont buy anything., and the cafe gets the customers as passing trade enhanced by the market area. Uppermost of the experience is we felt very unwelcome . If there is a next time we will have our food in town and an ice cream too before visiting the market area where we were most welcome.
  • Amazing range of curios/antiques. Allow a few hours. It's a big place.
  • This place is awesome if you love real vintage, and no one is there hassling you to buy anything, so you can just walk around and have fun looking at all the quirky things for sale. There's some nicely crafted furniture as well.
  • lots of great stuff to pick through and find that thing you didn't know you wanted from your youth. very super diverse range of things. very smart to have a cafe and toilets and courtyard. well worth a visit if your in town or even a reason to go but also drop by town for more good day shopping.
