  • The Darwin waterfront is a great place to hang out. It has bars and cafes and nice park to sit around in. The wave pool is good fun for a family and good value
  • Darwin itself is not up to much, I would say that would be the most ugly sight in Australia. Even the sea is pretty anonymous. But you gotta appreciate that are convergent with the Waterfront, expertly crafted, the heart of the city, definitely for tourism but also for the inhabitants themselves. There you can find many bars and restaurants, including an ice cream isn't bad, the sea prettily bordered to allow you to bathe safely and the pool Wave Lagoon. Great area to walk around, eat, relax and enjoy.

  • There is a great selection of food, wine and coffee. Well worth a visit, easy to walk from Darwin central town and plenty to see and do there. Great on a stormy night to see the lighting.
