  • One of the most beautiful local parks in the world. Stunning views. Lots of wildlife. And all available from your front door.
  • I was here in 94 and could remember how quiet and serene this beach was. Glad to have had the opportunity to make it here. Only reason I could find it was because of the Nudist beach...
  • A great walk along the beach. Good upgrade of services for families to use.
  • Great natural environment which has been upgraded. Parking has been upgraded and a lot of landscaping to make this a great family spot. One can watch and capture great sunsets.
  • Wonderful calm beach. Plenty of shells and crabs to keep kids entertained. There's also a nice park with play equipment for a BBQ etc.

Where to stay in Darwin

A small but distinctly cosmopolitan city, Darwin offers a surprisingly diverse range of lodgings, with most hotels located in or near the central business district. Despite this, finding a comfortable room during the peak May-to-September season can be extremely difficult, especially if you don't book ahead of your visit. If planning months in advance isn't an option, consider staying at a backpacker hostel or guesthouse outside the city center. Many of these smaller establishments offer access to free Wi-Fi and outdoor swimming pools.
