  • Amazing spot for a quick swim or relaxing, nice temperature by the small waterfall. Worth the visit and short walk to the Plat forms. Also has a small kiosk providing ice cream and other snacks.
  • This is a spectacular little paradise. But it spoils the enjoyment when people who come chose to smoke and or get drunk. Sorry but this is not the place.
  • After the dry outback the springs seem like heaven! Might be a lot of people by still worth it. Barbecue is easy with the public barbecues.
  • Great pools, great little waterfall. Not too many crocs.
  • Great place to stop for a swim before or after visiting Litchfield NP take the circle route through LNP either direction is fine

Where to stay in Darwin

A small but distinctly cosmopolitan city, Darwin offers a surprisingly diverse range of lodgings, with most hotels located in or near the central business district. Despite this, finding a comfortable room during the peak May-to-September season can be extremely difficult, especially if you don't book ahead of your visit. If planning months in advance isn't an option, consider staying at a backpacker hostel or guesthouse outside the city center. Many of these smaller establishments offer access to free Wi-Fi and outdoor swimming pools.
