  • It a good idea you can feed legally the birds. Although the Yellow crested Cockatoos are a bit scary when they sit on your shoulder.  more »
  • Big gums, birdlife, peaceful walking track, cafe and shop for variety. Not too keen on the buses of tourists feeding the wildlife though. Worth it if only for the gorgeous drive.  more »
  • The picnic grounds and bird feeding area are nice enough though do get very busy when the tourist buses call by. The really good bit is found by taking the path down through the vegetation and delight...  more »

  • Either driving or walking from Belgrave station (30 minutes) provide very scenic views of the rain forest. Competing with the bus's full of tourists to feed the birds can be frustrating. Make sure that you hold your ground and don't let any of the Cockatoo's bite your fingers and force you to drop your plate of bird seed ($2 at the tourist centre/shop).
  • Tbh, I'm never came in Australia because I'm French and at my age that's impossible but my bro Matthew, (I think you all call him Cecily) told me that was a beautiful place and I just can't wait to come to see it. And btw, thank you for letting my bro to work in your restaurant because he loves what he does.
  • Very nice place for picnic with kids ...kids would live feeding birds..nice place for a walk fresh air and beautiful views
  • Good fun with family at reasonable price. But make sure you go early as i think the birds get full and stop coming to you after sometime
  • Fresh air, nice view, different level of walking tracks, cockatoos. Must see destination.
