  • Great place for a picnic. Plenty of area for the children to run around and explore. The play areas are part of nature (logs to walk on, etc). Plenty of walking trails. Public toilets nearby. Highlight of course is the Koala Centre. Has been updated since my last visit. Very interactive. Plenty of koalas to see. Very interesting area for kids and adults alike to learn more about koalas. Heaps of parking all around the centre. Undercover tables as well. Wheelchair accessible.
  • Great mountain bike trails. Suitable for beginners as the trails are relatively flat and not technically challenging. However, experienced riders can have a heap of fun on this trail network. There are lots of wide gravel fire roads and approximately 30km of single track. This can be extended by heading over to the slightly more challenging (grade 3/4) trails at Cornubia.
  • Underrated attraction, it's free, the koalas are in rehab and adorable and hopefully comfortable, I find annoying kids traumatic so having a succession of beats yell and point at me in lunacy would send me into a ecualpyptis spiral. A fact you won't learn on the walls: There's no collective noun for a group of Koalas moving around together because buck and doe koalas don't move around in groups like dolphins or some birds.
  • Nice place for short visit. Just a few koalas but very educational focused and free entrance.
  • Beautiful area - really enjoyable mountain bike trails for all levels.
