  • We had booked a room at the B&B that this zoo is stuck. Half price you have unlimited access, even at night. You can also see the nocturnal animals active. A few wallabies walk through the park and are very cuddly. Furthermore, although the animals fenced, but the accommodation is spacious and the animals look good. As far as I am concerned only the birds would in still larger vollieres. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Also know a lot to tell about the animals. We have really enjoyed it. Even my two teenagers found it fun.

  • We arrived at night was not what we expected, dark and full of insects, we could not imagine the surprises awaiting us at dawn. It is a small and beautifully only zoo with Australian animals in the midst of nature in which you can sleep. We will never forget breakfast natural mango juice and homemade meals prepared at home by the owners. I know that my children will remember it always.

  • This is a small family owned zoo. It is a great way to see the local animals up close - Crocodile, Kangaroo, Wallaby, Dingo, Emus, tons of birds and more. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeabl...  more »

  • The zoo could be charming if the animals were treated with love and respectful owners, but unfortunately they don't. I worked as a volunteer and unfortunately I have pay the price. The owners take volunteers like their slaves (40H per week for free) and treat them as such. We are treated "lazy", they dare to claim that animals die because of us (when we love animals like me it's just unacceptable level to tell me that!), we stayed in a very dirty house and we are suposed make it clean with very few resources, we are nourished with food for the trash mostly obsolete. Not to mention that the owner touches the buttocks of its girls worker without embarrassment. In short, a true social mess!
  • Very friendly staff. Saw Crocs, Cassowary, endangered parrots and finches up close and much more. Well worth the trip. Loved it.
  • lovely place surrounded by nature and kangaroos
  • Notice HEPLX! TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We have volunteering for three weeks in this zoo with a friend. 7: 30 a.m. - 9.30 the coolest part of the work we feed the animals! It sorts the arrivals of the super market and washed the garbage. 30 min break for Tea-Time 10 h - 13 h start of maintenance of the zoo! That is to be gardening, cleaning the car's owner, the rooms of the hotel or the kitchen, pick up droppings kangaroos and many other painful things. And in recognition of the work done, you don't have a thank you but the "bullshit" "lazy" and many other insults coming from the owner of the ZOO! Also if you are a girl he will not interfere to put you a little spanking to share when his wife is there of course! 16 h 30 - 17 h are given food to the animals that eat the night. You don't have a day of rest. At the level of the housing, it is old-fashioned and somewhat dirty upon arrival, but it is acceptable. For food you retrieve the remains of fruits, vegetables and expired meat donated by stores with which the zoo is partnered. You have to "fight" to have cheese! We will keep fond memories of time spent with the animals! But not at all with patrons of the zoo which we have operated and insulted. They did not understand the principle of Helpx and think only about free labor because they pay only water and electricity! The mistake we made was read the review after our departure, but we noticed that it was the same for everyone!
