  • I have been here a number of times. We love to drive through the forest and take in the wonder of nature. This time I've learned that the Bug Museum may be closing for good. What a shame.  more »
  • This is a must see, but somewhat underwhelming in certain senses. No real wildlife, (that we saw). Very few birds. But! It is an ancient forest and major contributor to the world's Eco system. Would n...  more »

  • I absolutely love this Raw, 130 million year old rain forest. I love to be barefoot and connected with it how nature intended, respect this rainforest and the crocodiles you share it with, as long as you respect and acknowledge their presence, you won't get hurt. It's our duty to care for this beautiful place so take your rubbish with you! Follow Instagram: @theapplegate for more photos!
  • I love exploring these different areas of forest. Stunning, put me right back in the now.
  • Could not find the daintree? Like there were a lot of trees, but, like, where is the "daintree"? We drove 140 km in our 1000cc Nissan Micra 1.0L doing 100kmph+ through this rain forest trying to find the daintree, even crossed a river (didn't turn out so well), but still, no daintree. We even asked the tow truck company and they said it was around.... not sure what this meant. All in all, fantastic place to test the limits of your rental car and see the rain forest, but seek some advice to find the actual tree itself..
  • Awesome place! If you have a chance to the Daintree Dreaming Tour - that ends up with spear-fishing for crabs in shallow water and you will cook it right after it. Yum!
  • When I went there 10 years ago I loved popoit it was beautiful
