Cronulla Beach Walk, Cronulla

4.7
#1 of 15 in Trails in Greater Sydney
Cronulla Beach Walk offers splendid views over Bate Bay. Head north to reach Wanda Beach, where the walk switches from trail to sand. Walk south along a footpath and you'll come to Bass and Flinders Point. The northern route contains less development, so bring your own water. The southern route has more facilities, including toilets and drinking water. Cronulla itself offers plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Walked between the beaches, past the swimming pools. It was a nice sunny day, so perfect for a walk. Lots of other people about.  more »

Taking the walk around the coast is a very relaxing exercise. Top views and plenty of places to stop for photos. Get up before sunrise to get the best photos of stunning sunrises.  more »

I just fall in love when first time saw this beach. It is the best beach in Sydney in my opinion. Some pluses here: not overcrowded even in summer, the single beach is available by train in Sydney, walking paths to resting with girlfriend, snookering is available at south part of Cronulla, sands dunes are at the north Cronulla, ideal for cycling - good cycling roads between Cronulla and Kurnell. To sum up Cronulla beach suits everyone

Cronulla South beach is arguably one of the best southern Sydney beaches, and is a short walk from Elouera surf beach. Both beaches are safe for families, and have rescue facilities available if needed. Rest rooms and shower facilities are available at both beaches. Parking is available, but can be a premium, a better solution is to arrive by train, a short walk from the railway station.

A good clean beach with lifeguards on the area. Waves can get very extreme and surfers all over! Would recommend but fairly small when tide in.
