  • Great customer service. Constantly always have things to do. Staff are helpful and have a smiling face. Always helping to make the best price and choosing activities to suit the whole family and have a good chat!. Great food! Lovely focaccias and meals!
  • Was a good experience offering plenty to do in a pleasant setting. There was mini golf, indoor rope maze, the outdoor maze and more to offer. We only did the outdoor maze which was okay but could do with a bit of maintenance. Worth the visit for sure.
  • Con't from Noel Morrisons review, At this point you asked what time Michelle could come in to check that everything was as planned and to drop off the sorted table seating cards. I stated that we would be ready by 11.30am and fully expected the cards to be dropped off then. Michelle arrived after 3pm with the cards when your Wedding guests were arriving and we were fully committed to the organization of your wedding. I asked Michelle if she would mind putting the cards out. It was at this point that discrepancies started to arise with your seating arrangements which left me with no time to try and sort out. In regard to the menu: We fully intended to accommodate Jess’s requested changes to the menu. We were let down at the last minute by our supplier of the Chicken Breast. We substituted at the best option keeping in mind that Jess did not want tomato in this dish. I might point out that in our terms and conditions and all wedding package menu pages it does state that all prices and menu items are subject to change. We were not aware that the bride did not eat capsicum. We selected the nearest available substitute based on the fact that she had ordered - pork and fire roasted capsicum stuffed mushrooms for one of her entrée choices. The steak was definitely on a bed of caramelised onion mash potato, at no time were whole caramelised onions written on the menu. Check your email sent to me on the 6th of March. In regard to being able to communicate with me: as I stated above I gave you my mobile phone number on the 10th of November 2015 so that if you required to contact me I would always s be available. At no time was I ever rude or bossy to either Steve, Jess or their families. In reference to the Lawn Games: These were discussed but the arrangement was never completed nor any payment made. It clearly states in our Wedding Package that the cost is $75. In reference to the purchase of drinks between your ceremony and your pre dinner drink period: This option was never discussed. Your Ceremony was at 4pm. Your pre dinner drink period (part of your 6 hour package) commenced at 5pm. If you wanted to have drinks made available to your guests prior to 5pm this would need to have been pre-arranged to enable us to have staff available. This would mean an extra charge for the extra time outside of the agreed package. This was never requested. In reference to the incorrect number count: Up until Friday evening I had not been given the final number count and had not received the place cards to cross reference this. The cards arrived at around 3 pm on Saturday after the Wedding guests had started to arrive. We clearly state all guest count have to be finalized 2 weeks prior to your wedding. You paid for 94 adults, 5 children and 3 entertainers which equals 102 guests. There were also 3 babies not charged for. Your table setting was for 97 guests not including the bridal table which was another 8 guests giving a total of 105 guests plus 3 babies. You included your entertainers on tables as guests giving them the whole benefit of a full paying guest when you had only paid less than half the cost. Apart from this being very confusing it did create a false number of guests who were attending your wedding. I did not intend to bring this to your attention but when you insisted on me bringing out extra meals that had been paid for (due to guests not attending) when I was walking past the bridal table, I felt it necessary to tell you that there would be no extra meals as the number count we had was far different to what had been paid for. As you can see this was extremely confusing and would not have become an issue if we had been informed of the numbers as stipulated in our agreement. We have always tried to work in with our couples but can only do so when we are given the correct information. Reference to the discussion on Sunday: Firstly, you arrived right on lunch time when we had a function booked of which you were aware.
  • We went in the middle of summer (too hot) so my review might be a bit harsh. The maze is of acceptable complexity, and there are plenty of hidden features for the the kids to find. The maze was a little over grown but considering the season, I think that was to be expected. Didn't try the ice skating or the last tag.
  • We had our wedding there on March 19th and while the night was a great success and food wonderful we have a long list of complaints. Firstly, after 18 months of being told we could come and set up on the Friday, we were told, in passing that there was a booking on that friday night now, while we understand that as a venue they must take as many bookings as they can, surely a call to say "there might be a booking" would have been nice, we had people coming from 3 hours away to help with the set up. We were told we could come up during the week to show her how we wanted a table set up, we booked in for the Thursday, but called on the Tuesday to change that, we were told that it would be passed on, drove up on the Wednesday and found no one there, this made the bride to be ball her eyes out because it seemed like they didn't care. The venue manager Judy was near on impossible to get a hold of, at times it would take 3 or 4 phone calls or emails for her to reply back. We would ask a question and not get a reply. 2 weeks out when we went to confirm numbers we had to fight for the menu we had set in stone months out, in emails and over the phone. The bride does not eat a few things and these were pushed onto us and it was only us saying we are paying for it was it finally confirmed. Up until the 2 weeks out Judy was nice when you did get to speak to her, but from the 2 weeks out she was rude and bossy. The day before we finally got to show her how we wanted the tables set and emailed her the final table layout, we had 4 people inform us in the final 2 weeks that they couldn't come and no extra people. On the day we wanted lawn games set up for the guests, none were set up. Our guests could not even buy a drink between the ceremony and when the first drinks were served, some half an hour. As the entrees were coming out Judy informed us that there were 108 people there and we paid for 94. We told her in the lead up that the bride & grooms mothers were the people to speak to if something was wrong. This put both of us in stressful moods as we were worried that we had stuffed up. This was not the case, for some reason they counted the kids as adults as well as babies, they claimed that we did not pay for the bridal table, but have proof that we did. The food on the night was very good, however was not what we had confirmed, the bride does not eat a lot of things, one was capsicum which made its way into the chicken, the changes, which were made on the Tuesday was never confirmed, a simple phone call would have done wonders, we were told to make up menus, which on the night made us look like idiots and confused our guests. The steak was meant to have a different sauce as well as be on a bed of roasted onion, while it was great, it was not what I had ordered. The next day when we went to pick up our things we were told we had to pay for the extra guests, Judy & the chef, both spoke to myself, the bride & my mother as rude as anyone has ever spoken to us. All Judy kept on talking about was our numbers were wrong, which we have since double checked and even if everyone had turned up we would have paid for 1 extra meal, this can be proven. She also talked about her feelings, to which I said, "I'm sorry, but the day is about Jess, myself & my guests, your feelings on our night do not care, not one of our guests were rude, too drunk, no one threw up, broke anything or needed to be brought into check" She tried to take credit for a great night, which would have been great if we had it in a laneway in Fitzroy as the night was about the people, the venue is meant to help with the night. She also warned us about writing a bad review threatening to sue us if we did. Like I said, the food was great, but not what we ordered, the staff didn't smile but thats understandable working for a witch like that, the communication was shocking and we wish we didn't have it there, but its done and infers to come lets hope we can remember the good on the day and not the bitter old hag and her venue.
