  • In the middle of town, this replica of the Peace Bell which is at the UN in New York, is able to be rung, with the striker. It is loud 
  • On 4th August 2014 representatives from 18 nations rang this bell in commemoration of the outbreak of WW1 100 years ago. Well worth going to see. Great effort Cowra Council

  • Worth stopping to look at if you're passing by. We listened to the audio track which is played on loop to learn about the World Peace Bell. It's a replica of ones found all over the world, normally located in the capital cities but this one was placed in Cowra as homage to the Cowra POW camp and history surrounding it.
