  • A lovely tribute to peace. I was a little reluctant to sound the bell as it was evening but I did in the peace of the night and others followed. A must see in Cowra. 
  • There are only 23 of these on the planet. Cowra is very fortunate to have one. It is located on the Cowra Civic Square. It is made from melted down coins donated by 106 countries. Well worth a look

  • Worth stopping to look at if you're passing by. We listened to the audio track which is played on loop to learn about the World Peace Bell. It's a replica of ones found all over the world, normally located in the capital cities but this one was placed in Cowra as homage to the Cowra POW camp and history surrounding it.
