A Maze'N Things, Cowes

4.3
Step into a world of illusions, puzzles, and mazes at A Maze'N Things. See a version of mini-you in the shrinking room and wander your way through various mazes. Take a plunge down the 6.5 m (21 ft.) Look Out! Slide! Try out virtual boogie boarding before you take on the real thing on Phillip Island. Many adults find the mazes challenging, so don't be surprised if it takes extra time to navigate one. You can also play a round of mini-golf at the facility. You should find your visit entertaining no matter the weather conditions, but this attraction makes an especially attractive option if it's too cloudy or rainy for the beach. • Hard to enjoy with lots of people coming through due to people not waiting their turn on things..however overall a unique expirience and must see if your in the area. Mini golf was fun.  more »
  • I went with an adult friend and three kids. It seemed a bit pricey BUT so worth it. We must have spent at least a couple of hours exploring and enjoying the attractions. It has improved so much since ...  more »
  • Simple ideas but lots of fun. Wasn't too busy despite being an australian public holiday. the maze at the end was fun as well.  more »

  • We had a really good time here. $5 extra for magic show was worth it. Although I feel it should be part of the ticket price. There is something for all age groups. They have heaps of strollers that you could borrow for free for your kids. Over-size strollers and prams cannot get to every room there so please be mindful.
  • This was selectively interesting albeit a little pricey (there are student discounts if you ask!). The gravity room was interesting but if you spend too long in there you'll be giddy the rest of the day. There's a high slide in one of the rooms which was very fun, but that's the only fun part of the entire attraction for me. Everything else was rather boring although I reckon if you brought kids here they'd love it.
  • What a fantastic place to take the kids. Heaps of amusements and fun for the kids including mazes, mini golf and other oddities. Magic show was awesome and well worth the extra $5.00 per head. A really entertaining half hour show. Then there is the souvenir shop and café. All the tables in the dining area come complete with puzzles that can keep people entertained for hours. A great way to spend a day on the weekend or holidays. Be careful though it's easy to spend a lot of money.
  • We had a great time at this place. It isn't exactly cheap but I would say it is value for money. Only thing on the price I would add is that if you go on a week day (like we did) the high ropes course does NOT run but you still pay the same price... The 'drop' slide was very cool and quite an adrenaline rush well worth a try! The magic rooms was very impressive could have spent a lot longer in there if it wasn't for our hungry toddler. The maze was ok, I imagine children would get a lot more out of it. If they could somehow have it that there was something to collect or a stamp or something at each flag it would be a lot more of a race/challenge (and perhaps more honest ;)) Mini golf was very cool lots of interaction and well maintained. We took our own food and they there VERY accommodating and happy for us to do this, even offered for us to eat it in their cafe! But we found a nice park bench outside. Note - there is no grass, only woodchips. There was food available for purchase however we didn't buy any so unable to comment on that. Would definitely recommend a visit.
  • Worth the visit. The puzzle and magic areas are both good. The maze is great, although would benefit from a code system at each checkpoint to prove that they were all visited. The mini golf is one of the best courses I've seen.
