  • It may have been a 3 hour drive from Fremantle for lunch, but it was worth it. Although not white table cloth, it was equally sophisticated. The food's presentation was only beaten by its flavour. Yum...  more »

  • Visited Vasse Felix as part of our 25th wedding anniversary celebrations. We had a personalised wine tasting before our lunch and had the five course tasting menu with matching wines. The whole experience was first class with great food and wine in beautiful surroundings. Must mention how fantastic all the restaurant and cellar door staff were. They were friendly, knowledgeable and confident in what they did which is a credit to the management team at Vasse Felix.
  • Beautiful landscaping incorporating the natural features of the location. Fine wines in a relaxed place. Really enjoyed the place and their red wines. Discovered my neighbour and private tutor Jan, started it all, over the road from Bob's brother's place.
  • Amazing setting with a beautiful cellar door and dining facility. Vasse Felix is the first winery of Margaret River, known for chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon. My favourite was the specialty 2014 cane cut dessert wine - sweet, silky and very easy drinking. As of Jan 2017, there is no tasting fee.
  • Celebrated a birthday with a lunch. It was a mouthwatering experience as the menu surpassed all expectations.Congratulations! Waitstaff were outstanding with their knowledge and friendliness ,however ,having recently experienced a debilitating condition which makes walking difficult, I found the accessibility to this restaurant most confronting. The carpark, complete with ACROD, was 150 metres from the entrance.Upon entering, the toilets are positioned downstairs, with the lead in on a sloped floor with no handrail, while the actual restaurant is situated upstairs. No lift! There is a Service carpark at the rear of the restaurant but as a visitor, we had no access. A suggestion is for 2-4 ACROD spaces with an entrance closer to the restaurant. This place, remarkable as it is, appears to cater for a certain demographic ie those with mobility.
  • Great tasting experience - staff are all very knowledgeable and helpful for every level of familiarity and errrrr stage of enjoyment. One of the best lunches in recent memory courtesy of chef Aaron and my favorite meal in the Margaret River region hands down. Coming back soon for the Tom Cullity 2013 release! x
