My family and I came over to the Gold Coast from New Zealand in July, and spent two of the best days of our trip at Dreamworld. The staff were super friendly, the rides were awesome, safety way top-notch, the food choices a little average and pricey, but not enough to deter us. We bought season passes, as that worked out much cheaper, and are now looking at ways to cross the ditch again and make the most of them! I would totally recommend this to families with children, individuals in for a bit of a thrill, anyone really looking for a bit of fun!
Dreamworld! What more do i need to say, the place is definitely a full day of fun for the family. If you like going on rides it is advised to purchase skip the line passes and book a time for each ride. The food is ridiculously priced like any theme park but there is a jewel that is missed by many. There is a all you can buffet right next to wiggle world called the billabong. Well worth eating there as it includes a full buffet and deserts plus unlimited drinks self service for under $30 a head. Better than a greasy burger.
Rides were awesome and the place was amazing. BUT my boyfriend and I took an awesome picture in the Hot Wheels ride doing a gun pose, and the guy said we couldn't buy the picture because it looked like we were doing "the finger". We didn't even think of that until he mentioned it. The only thing that looked like the finger was his face.
My family and I bought season and photo passes for Dreamworld on advice from some friends. I must say it was worth every penny we spent 3 full days between Dreamworld and white water world and still have plenty to do. You also get fantastic discounts to skypoint and other fun things. The roaming photographers at the park are a nice touch allowing you some professional looking family photos to download once home. I could go on forever. We will be flying back up every other month with the kids.
I absolutely love Dreamworld. Its not just for kids it for all ages. There are always fun activities for everyone to participate in and you can also meet some of your favourite characters. I had the chance to meet my favourite furry friend puss in boots. I would recommend this theme park to anyone who asks and i will definitely be back again in the near future
