  • Easy to get to with lots of scenic and surfing views. Ice cream, good cafe and art studio also there. Well worth the drive/walk along the ocean.  more »
  • With views of New South Wales and Queensland beaches it's a great monument, I believe it's no longer used as a watch tower anymore and there has been discussion to remove it but that would be a shame....  more »
  • tried to stop in and enjoy the view, on a couple of occasions, parking is dreadful and hectic, ended up getting a park closer to greenmount beach, however the older couple with us were unable to walk ...  more »

  • Straddling the NSW/Qld border, this Memorial and Navigation Beacon has one of the most spectacular coastal views you'll find anywhere. A favorite spot for commemorative photos or magnificent selfies. At the base of the lighthouse Point Danger Marine Rescue Volunteers maintain vigil over, and communication with, coastal and river traffic. For those who believe in karma a couple of gold coins tossed into the quaint Wishing Well is sure to be beneficial. Cold drinks, ice creams are available from the Souvenir Shop and a receipt is available for larger (Tax deductible) donations to this volunteering organisation, for which heaps of good karma is available. A memorable spot for a short visit.
