Grassy Hill, Cooktown

4.9
#1 of 14 in Things to do in Cooktown
From the top of Grassy Hill, enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Cooktown, Endeavor River, and the Coral Sea. You can reach the lookout by a spiral path or steep steps leading to the summit. Captain Cook climbed this hill to figure out a safe way to sail out through the reef. If you want to go for a swim, descend by another walking path to Cherry Tree Bay beach.
