  • As a birthday treat we did a house tour (limited time only, beware) and had high (morning) tea. The tour was fascinating - so good to see a house full of priceless antiques that is still lived in and used, and hear stories of the amazing Dame Nellie Melba. The food was beautiful AND tasty and the whole experience superb. Highly recommended!
  • Attentive service. Chef happy to accommodate asking for a vegan option at lunch. Vegan mushrooms and roasted chestnuts on a bed of polenta, topped with crispy sage was amazing. Great wines too.
  • Dropped in for a morning coffee on a Yarra Valley day trip. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for an afternoon coffee as well. I will definitely come back again.
  • I attended a friends wedding a few weeks back and was amazed at how beautiful this winery was! Absolutely stunning and such a romantic wedding. The food was good (they do the best potatoes I've ever had!! EVER!!) I had the duck for mains, which was nice but the downside was the duck leg was over cooked and almost unedible. They are famous for the peach Melba but I found it too sweet and underwhelming; It was just an ok dish for me. The most frustrating thing for me was the service we received! If you're lucky enough to get a nice server you'll get amazing service but if you happen to flag down a rouge server you'll never get your drink or extra fork and will need to ask repeatedly for a wine refill. I don't understand why a winery would be so stingy with wine...
  • Came here for a private function (wedding). Easily the best wedding meal I've had. Beautiful location, and the historic buildings are very well converted for modern functions.
