  • This is a very impressive structure and must have been a mammoth task. It is such a shame, there is graffiti all over the walls at the start of the bridge, looks really ugly, don't know why people nee...  more »
  • We got off at the small station of Coalcliff and we started walking towards the bridge over the ocean. This building was built in 18 months and opened only in 2015 to put an end to several landslides along the way to go for original come and go from the mines, and for the transport of coal. The bridge is very nice and quite spectacular, a few curves you throw right on the ocean, and the scenery is definitely worth, careful Vertigo sufferers like me! Although winds for about 700 mts. keep quite on the right crossing to Wollongong, so you can enjoy the view without trembling! Still a beautiful attraction

  • Awesome easy walk or bike ride to do with the kids, nice Park down near the beach at the northern end of the bridge. Can even find a way to the top of the cliffs for an amazing view if you feel like exploring a bit ;)
  • With just over 450 meters long, the drive through the bridge is incredible. The cliffs above you, blue sky infront of you and the beautiful sound of the waves hitting into rocks below you makes this one of the best driving experiences I've had. It's actually mesmerizing. If you want to walk and take photos, there are designated parking spots which allow you to walk on the footpath. If you have a day to kill and want to feel inspired, definitely give this bridge a look. It's a great experience and a calming method that is a great change from every day life. What a piece of beautiful engineering.
  • Always stunning, particularly if you can drag yourself out of bed to see the sunrise from either on the bridge or above it!
  • Beautiful Bridge . A cliff one side and sea on the other, the perfect spot if you'd like to capture a sunrise in beautiful surroundings away from civilisation.
  • Drop your active friends just before the bridge when coming from sydney, and park the car after he bridge. Then meet mid way.
