  • Good place to bring your children. Esp if it is raining. Find it getting a bit expensive now and don't really like the fact that they have now introduced coin machines as well..
  • Food is overpriced, poor quality and at times inedible. Climbing wall not supervised by staff-has the potential to be very dangerous.
  • We are regulars at Bay Play. It's a great, clean play centre with so much for them to do! Our two especially love the rock walls and shooting balls. After school they have $5 entry too!! We love meeting friends with kids there, we can chat over a coffee and the kids can play!
  • Great play centre however the food is terrible! The carrot cake that we had was dry and horrible, so much so that it couldn't even be washed down with a cup of tea. The mini pancakes were like rubber and even my daughter, who is far from a fussy eater, turned her nose up at them. I would have considered having a party there if not for the fact that the food was so bad and outside food is not permitted. It's also quite an expensive party venue for what is on offer.
  • I held a party for my 5 year old daughter at Bay Play last weekend. We had a total of 32 children in attendance. The 'event' because for the price I was expecting something amazing cost me a grand total of $1783.50... For the privilege of hosting our event at this overpriced centre we had 2 party rooms with a very small box of kids foods (nothing hot - a 1/2 sandwich, a paper cup half filled with jelly, a fruit stick with what looked to be week old watermelon and not much else). This also covered a plate of soggy sandwiches for the parents, dry sausage rolls and some sliced fruit. The website mentions 'themed party rooms' - if a chalk board and coloured chairs count as theming well it ticks that box. In my mind it looked more like a classroom. We were also told that we would have 2 supervised party games, however our supposed 'party host' was busy hoovering the room (that we paid an additional $150/room/hour for our kids to utilise). And then there was the cake that was to serve all 32 children - two mouthfuls at best that were swiftly cleared away by an overzealous cleaner/party host. With children aged from 5-10 years I have held a multitude of playcentre parties both in Brisbane and Sydney. This would have to rate as the worst party experience at the highest price that I have EVER experienced. I can not caution highly enough against this centre for a party... read the fine print, I am suprised that there wasn't an 'additional' charge to use the bathrooms. Unbelievable, beyond bad...
