  • We had been before and wanted to return for lunch on the shady verandah where we could take in the gardens and bird calls. The menu has a focus on native ingredients. The granata drinks were welcome.....  more »

  • Excellent asset to the Redlands and very educational on local wildlife and flora. Great setting for the cafe. A great place to relax. On some visits we saw a koala, you have to be lucky but they are there.
  • Great for families, free to visit. Tracks to walk around. There is a nice little playground for the kids to play on.
  • A great little spot to take your Family to wander, explore and capture nature. Has an information and an Organic/ Bushtucker Menu...This has a small playground for Children aged 4 - 13yrs approx with 1 - 2 picnic tables and they've now got construction for Amenities. Nice short tracks that allow you to observe all that Nature thrives and lives in the area, but Koalas have probably moved on due to the Housing that this has reached its surrounded boundaries.
  • Lovely to see a Cafe type menu which includes 'some' indigenous ingredients, grounds are lovely.
  • A really wonderful place to take the kids for the day. Best of all it's free entry. Huge outdoors space where there's endless places for even the most energetic children to run around and play. Grab a coffee and take the kids for an adventure around the park area where only your imagination is the limit. Stroll down to the playground that has plenty of things to climb on as well as a sandpit and flying fox. While your there grab a book from the box and let your children read while enjoying the outdoors. While walking around you can learn about all the different natural things they have growing around like bush tucker. Don't forget to take a walk to the lake area where you can see plenty of wildlife in their natural habitats as well as a 400 year old tree that has a few interesting facts about it. All in all no matter what part of Brisbane you live in or even if your just vistiting it has to be one of the things you have to do. Worth the trip. Would give it 6 stars if the ratings would go that high.
