  • Situated with the lake around it, this large park area is great for picnics and barbeques. It is very peacefull and even the kanagaroos like it. The paths allow for walking, jogging, skating bike ridi...  more »
  • Opposite the train is a beautiful picnic area with some covered areas. It's on a slope. The views are magic, especially around sundown. (Canberra has the best sunsets in the world.)  more »
  • We cycled through this park and noticed there are great places for family picnics and walks and in places some lovely views of Yarralumla. All lake side and very clean.  more »

  • Excellent riding/waking/picnicking opportunities. Lovely area to spend some time in.
  • Excellent place for picnic. One of the best kids play area. Toy train ride is one more attraction. One could also arrange a birthday party here. 5 star for this place for sure.
  • This is a nice park, plenty of space for you to find a spot. You will always be able to find a good one.
  • Peaceful, great location for children and petanque and kangaroos.
  • Great parkland with views of the Governor General's house, Black Mountain tower and mobs of kangaroos.
