  • A must for everyone who visits Canberra or moves here! A lovely birds eye view of our Nation's Capital. When I was a little girl growing up in Canberra, I always imagined it was a rocket ship sitting up on top of the mountain. Now my children giggle at this as they admire the different colours it displays at night. It could possibly do with a bit of fix up inside and update as it's hardly changed up top since I was young. Nothing beat coming here on school excursions and daring each other to look over the edge
  • A very beautiful tower with great views of Canberra! I do miss the revolving restaurant though and I wish there were more shops but there aren't enough visitors to keep those thing running plus they were pretty expensive anyway. If you're visiting Canberra then you MUST visit Telestra Tower! 😀😉👍
  • Fantastic view from top. However could have been better with wider choice of meals at the cafe.
  • Great views of the city, the National Arboretum and out towards Belconnen and Woden. Even better at night.
  • Nice views, but would recommend driving to Mount Ainslie for same if not better views for free..

Where to stay in Canberra

To stay comfortably near most main attractions in Canberra, choose a hotel in the city's central district. If you're a bit more budget-minded, look for a guesthouse in a neighborhood farther away from the city center. Residential areas offer more parking and quieter rooms at a fraction of the price charged by big-name centrally located hotels. Rental apartments spread across Canberra serve as another cozy option and offer lodgings ranging from simply furnished to luxurious five-star properties.
