  • Close distance between animals anyway. Touch if you like. Kangaroo or something. But it is scary. Park is from beginning to end Earth underfoot, felt less of humans and animals in Japan. You come away eating Kirin's face in front of me, touch the EMU was impressed.

  • Nice place to visit with young kids . Interesting to see the animal feeding . A bit expensive though and food options are limited
  • My favourite place in Canberra! It's on the small side, but it's really manageable to do a full circuit in a reasonable amount of time because of that. And you can get fairly close to many of the animals, which really adds to the experience!
  • Absolutely excellent. The variety of animals and quality of the enclosures was top notch. I left feeling liked I hadn't paid enough for entry - a truly great experience. Lions, tigers, snow leopards, otters, sub bears, penguins, mere cats and much more. If you haven't been, you honestly should.
  • The ring-tailed lemurs are sooooo cute. A great place to bring the family. Memberships are great value.
  • A small zoo but except for the lions, giraffe, and some sun bears, the tiger didn't look happy, a dead koi was found in a pond, look like the water was not changed regularly. Happy lion/ giraffe feeding experience though.
  • Love this zoo, and it's getting better every year. Totally worth the year membership for an adult, especially if you have children under 5 as they are only gold coin entry.
