Where to stay in Canberra

To stay comfortably near most main attractions in Canberra, choose a hotel in the city's central district. If you're a bit more budget-minded, look for a guesthouse in a neighborhood farther away from the city center. Residential areas offer more parking and quieter rooms at a fraction of the price charged by big-name centrally located hotels. Rental apartments spread across Canberra serve as another cozy option and offer lodgings ranging from simply furnished to luxurious five-star properties.

  • It's such a beautiful building with very interesting history. The mysteries are intriguing but wont say anymore about them. Staff are really knowledgeable and ao friendly. All in all a great experience that I cannot recommend highly enough.
  • I made a special trip to Canberra to visit the archive- horror of horrors! Closed at the weekend! What nonsense is this? A unique facility, which attracts visitors from across the world closed at the weekend?
  • See a lot more online
  • A better standard Cafe than any of the commercial cinemmas with an unusual, art nouveau courtyard setting. Always interesting movies out of mainstream.
  • Nice old building, good vibes, plays the film festivals.
